“This was an actual corse on how to handle food and prepare it! On top of cleaning agents and many other topics. There are other places that you can just take the test. I liked that this one was able to teach you everything you needed to know and allow you to do a knowledge test at the end of each module. It is a little time consuming so make sure you have an hr or more available for it! There are 8 total modules. I got some new things I didn’t already know from it! As well as a refresher on things I already did. Over all it was worth it to me. Hope this helps anyone else looking for the right place to get their food handlers card.”

REQUISITOS DEL MANIPULADOR DE ALIMENTOS DE LA FLORIDA
- El Programa de Soluciones para Manipuladores de Alimentos no está aprobado actualmente en el estado de Florida. Este programa sólo está destinado a ser utilizado para el desarrollo personal y la preparación para la formación proporcionada por el estado.
- Todo empleado de servicios alimentarios que trabaje en un establecimiento público autorizado de servicios alimentarios debe completar la formación sobre seguridad alimentaria en un plazo de 60 días a partir de su incorporación al trabajo.
- Los trabajadores deben repetir el curso cada tres años antes de que caduque su certificado.
- Este es un requisito OBLIGATORIO en todo el estado para los manipuladores de alimentos empleados en todos los establecimientos de servicios alimentarios.
- Los trabajadores de la alimentación deben tomar la clase aprobada por el Estado de Florida y aprobar el examen sobre los fundamentos de la seguridad alimentaria.
- Los que aprueban el examen reciben un permiso de trabajador de la alimentación.
- Los Departamentos de Salud locales ofrecen la formación, el examen y el carné de trabajador alimentario.
