“This was an actual corse on how to handle food and prepare it! On top of cleaning agents and many other topics. There are other places that you can just take the test. I liked that this one was able to teach you everything you needed to know and allow you to do a knowledge test at the end of each module. It is a little time consuming so make sure you have an hr or more available for it! There are 8 total modules. I got some new things I didn’t already know from it! As well as a refresher on things I already did. Over all it was worth it to me. Hope this helps anyone else looking for the right place to get their food handlers card.”

- El Programa de Soluciones para Manipuladores de Alimentos no está aprobado actualmente en el estado de Oregon. Este programa sólo está destinado a ser utilizado para el desarrollo personal y la preparación para la formación proporcionada por el estado.
- Oregón exige que todos los trabajadores del sector alimentario reciban formación sobre seguridad alimentaria antes de manipular los alimentos que se sirven al público.
- Los trabajadores del sector alimentario que toman una clase de formación en seguridad alimentaria y aprueban un examen aprobado por la Autoridad Sanitaria de Oregón sobre los fundamentos de la seguridad alimentaria reciben un carné de manipulador de alimentos.
- Consulte con los departamentos de salud locales para determinar dónde puede obtener la formación, el examen y el carné de trabajador alimentario aprobados.
- Los trabajadores de los servicios de alimentación están obligados a obtener el carné de manipulador de alimentos en un plazo de 30 días a partir del inicio de su trabajo.
